Terms of Service

Last updated: March 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Nexus Health website, submitting an application to any of our programs, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. About Nexus Health

Nexus Health is a precision medicine research laboratory focused on building biosensors, risk models, and clinical architectures for preventive medicine. We also operate a research fellowship program, publish academic research, and incubate translational health technology. These Terms govern your use of our website and participation in our publicly available programs.

3. Use of the Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

(a) Use the website in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

(b) Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, the server on which our website is hosted, or any server, computer, or database connected to the website.

(c) Use any automated system, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to access the website for any purpose without our express written permission.

(d) Introduce any viruses, trojans, worms, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

(e) Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the website without express written permission from Nexus Health.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Nexus Health website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, data compilations, software, research publications, and page layout — is the property of Nexus Health or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any of our content without prior written consent.

Our research publications may be subject to separate licensing terms as specified by the applicable journal or publishing venue. Where we make research outputs available under open-access licenses, those specific license terms apply.

5. Fellowship Program

Applications to the Nexus Health fellowship program are subject to the following conditions:

(a) Eligibility. Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria specified on the fellowship page at the time of application. We reserve the right to modify eligibility criteria between cohorts.

(b) Application accuracy. You warrant that all information provided in your application is truthful and accurate. Submission of false or misleading information may result in the rejection of your application or dismissal from the program.

(c) Selection. Admission to the fellowship is at the sole discretion of Nexus Health. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.

(d) Intellectual property. Research outputs produced during the fellowship are subject to the intellectual property terms agreed upon at the time of enrolment. Generally, fellows retain co-authorship rights on publications produced during the program, while Nexus Health retains rights to methodologies, datasets, and tools developed as part of its research infrastructure.

(e) Fees and refunds. Fellowship fees, payment schedules, and refund policies are specified on the fellowship application page and in the enrolment agreement provided to accepted applicants.

6. Contact Submissions

When you submit a message through our contact form, you consent to Nexus Health storing and processing the information you provide for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

General disclaimer. The information provided on this website is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition.

Research content. Information about our research projects, publications, and findings is presented for informational purposes. Research outcomes are subject to peer review and should not be interpreted as validated clinical guidelines or treatment recommendations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nexus Health, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nexus Health, its directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the website, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any third party.

10. External Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Nexus Health. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nexus Health operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
